Opal Violet Stinnett Burgess

Opal Violet Stinnett Burgess , 96, of St. Clair, MI died on Saturday, November 26, 2011. Born June 28, 1915 at Prudence, WV she was the daughter of the late Robert Marion and Julia Frances Wilson Stinnett. Opal married Eugene Burgess on August 31, 1935. He preceded her in death 1996. She was also preceded by a daughter, Shelby Blake and a grandson, Michael Benns. Survivors include daughters, Nina Good and husband Martin and Judy Benns, five grandchildren, Kim, Chris, Millicent, Tracee and Stacee, eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Funeral services will be on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 12:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Barney Stinnett and Betty Stinnett Burgess officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
