Opal Pauline Humphrey McCoubrey, 85, of Mount Hope, WV died on Tuesday, December 05, 2006 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV. Born June 03, 1921 at Pax, WV she was the daughter of the late Emmett G. and Emma Lafferty Humphrey. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert McCoubrey; son, Jerry Allen McCoubrey; seven brothers, Earl, Dove, Harry, Calvin, Claude, Shirley and Reginald Humphrey; three sisters, Hila Boyd, Vivian Trent and Evelyn Morgan.. Survivors include two sons, Mike McCoubrey of Erial, NJ and Larry Brady of Hillard, OH; stepdaughers, Jessie Gazeley of Troy, NY, Marjorie Masten of Victorty Mills, NY; one sister, Marie Billups of Pax; by 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope on Thursday, December 7, 2006 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Services will be on Friday, December 8, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope in Mount Hope. with Rev. Tom Lilly officiating. Burial will be at Pax Community Cemetery, Pax WV.
