Oneta Alice Douglass

Oneta Alice Douglass, 87,of Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota formerly of Scarbro, WV died Thursday, May 6, 2004 in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota. She was born at Leander, WV on April 4, 1917, a daughter of the late Ernest L. and Effie D. Hively Ramsey. She was a member of the Fellowship Memorial Baptist Church in Oak Hill and a homemaker and enjoyed quilting. Preceded in death by her husband, Philip Sheridan Douglass; brothers, Randolph, Ralph, Leroy, Jack and Joe Ramsey and a sister, Juanita Ramsey Patton. Survivors include her beloved children, one son, Dale Douglass and his wife, Judith of Cottage Grove, Minnesota; one daughter, Doris Anderson and her husband, Donald of Youngstown, Ohio. She was the loving grandmother of Shara (Mark) Meier, Ed Douglass, Eddie Ray (Barb) Weaver, Rex (Marie) Weaver, Oneta (Harry) Urbach, and J. P. Weaver; nine great grandchildren, Brittany, Emily, Alex, Rex, Jesse, Amanda, Philip, Sarah, and Joseph; one sister, Imogene Eades of Ansted, WV. Funeral service Thursday, May 13,2004 at 2:00 PM at the Tyree Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Hill with Rev. Bill Menefee officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity, WV. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
