Omer "Nene" Eugene Murray, 55, of Prudence, WV died on Friday, October 24, 2003 at Hilltop Healthcare Center in Hilltop, WV. Born December 29, 1947 at Derry Hill, Mount Hope, WV he was the son of the late Paul Jones and Nancy Caudell Murray. He was a retired construction worker. Mr. Murray was preceded in death by brothers, Charles Murray and Paul Murray, Jr. and sisters, Deloris McLain and Virgie Smith. Survivors include Daughter: Sherry Murray Jenkins and husband, Larry, of Bessemer, NC Step Daughters: Billie Kenney and husband, Jay, of Oak Hill Lou Maynus and husband, Kenny, of Oak Hill Sue Reichard of Hilltop Sister: Betty Mills and husband, Everett, of Prudence Brothers: James Murray of Fayetteville George Howard Murray and wife, Shirley, of Prudence Billy Ray Murray, Sr. and wife, Janice, of Oak Hill Granddaughter: Brianna Jenkins Step grandchildren: Ashlee, Heather, T.J., Lauren, Amanda, Jillian, Luke and Danny Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Monday, October 27, 20003, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Services will be on Tuesday, October 28, 2003, at 1:00 P.M. at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens in Oak Hill with Rev. Everett Mills officiating. Burial will be at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill WV. The family will be gathering at Bill and Janice Murray's home at 304 22nd Street, Oak Hill following the service Monday.
