Ocie T. Taylor

Ocie Thelma Garrett Taylor, 108, of Oak Hill, WV passed away on Thursday, March 08, 2007 at Hidden Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Oak Hill, WV after a long illness. Born May 01, 1898 at Rt. 1, Fayetteville, WV she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Ida Mae Teel Garrett. She was a homemaker and a member of the Oak Hill Brethren Church. Other than her parents, she was preceded in deah by her husband, Ralph L. Taylor; a son, Michael Linkswiler; daughters, Emma Goff and Lucille Notch; and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include two daughters, Frances Marine of Rt. 1, Fayetteville and Edith Shock of Dunbar; 16 grandchildren; and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. Service will be 2:30 PM Monday at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel, Oak Hill with Rev. William Skeldon officiating. Burial will follow in High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. Friends may call from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM at the funeral home.
