Oather Worley

Oather Glenville Worley, 86, of Concho, passed away on Monday, June 23, 2008 at Charleston Area Medical Center, Memorial Division, Charleston. Born January 8, 1922 at Meadow Creek, WV, he was the son of the late Letcher Prince and Ida Elizabeth Smith Worley. Mr. Worley was a retired coal miner having worked for various mines including mines at Minden and Summerlee. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eloise Francis Lego Worley, by three children and eleven siblings. Those left to cherish his memory include, his daughter, Susie and her husband, Randy Jenkins; four granddaughters and nine great grandchildren who all had a special place in his heart, including his thirty six nieces and nephews. Committal Services with burial to follow will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday at Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum B, Beckley with the Rev. Greg Stone officiating. Friends may call at the Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Friday.
