Norma Janney

Norma Jean Bannister Janney, 75, of Oak Hill, WV died on Tuesday, July 26, 2005 at her home. Born April 20, 1930 at Beckley, WV she was the daughter of the late Earl C. and Nell Musgrave Bannister. She was a retired registered nurse having worked for Hilltop Center and FMRS. Norma was a member of the Saint Andrew's Episcopal Church, Oak Hill, WV. She was a graduate of Mount Hope High School and the Kanawha Valley Hospital School of Nursing and was a member of the Oak Hill Garden Club. Survivors include husband, Howard E. Janney; one daughter, Paige Kerby and husband, Fred, of Fredricksburg, VA; one son John G. "Jap" Janney and wife, Diana, of Oak Hill, WV; sister, Jane Lawson of Oak Hill, WV; four grandchildren, Erin Kerby Bowling and husband, Adam, Tiffany Kerby, Katie Janney and Jeffrey Janney. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, WV on Friday, July 29, 2005, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Services will be on Friday, July 29, 2005, at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Father Roy G. Crist officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Southern West Virginia, PO Box 1472, Beckley WV 25802.
