Nora Ann Persinger Dooley

Nora Ann Persinger Dooley , 73, of Oak Hill, WV died on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV. Born July 14, 1938 at Crab Orchard, WV she was the daughter of the late Richard and Mary Evelyn Pennington Persinger. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Dooley was a member of the Oak Hill Church of the Nazarene. Four brothers and one sister preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband, Jerry Lee Dooley, four sons, Kenneth Bowyer of Oak Hill, Jack Bowyer and wife, Christy of Hico, Frank Bowyer of Charlotte, NC and Jerry Dooley, Jr. and wife, Jodi of Mannington, two daughters, Nancy Higginbotham and husband, Eddie of Scarbro and Ronnie Cogar and husband, Bob of Fairmont, one brother, James Persinger and wife, Kay of Oak Hill and three sisters, Ruth Freeman of Dublin, GA, Connie Edwards of Oak Hill and Barbara Lavender of Fayetteville. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be on Friday, March 2, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Oak Hill Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Jerry Bush and Pastor Dave Edwards officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill on Thursday, March 1, 2012 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM and for one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church.
