Noel Dayton Shrout

Noel Dayton Shrout, 86, of Mount Hope originally from Derry Hale, WV passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley.
Noel was born March 23, 1932 in Oswald, WV to the late Buckner and Ophelia Ramsey Shrout.
He worked as a coal miner for thirty-two years, attended the Cranberry Community Church for forty-five years, and attended Mount Hope Wesleyan Church for fourteen years.
Noel is preceded in death by a son, Terry Lee Shrout; two grandsons, Ricky Gene Allen, and Jeremy Edward Shrout; six brothers Carl, Chester, Tom, Everette, George, and Charles Shrout; and daughter in law, Lisa Ann Shrout.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of sixty-five years Lillie Mae Roberts Shrout; two sons, Noel Edward Shrout (Donna) of Beckley, and Brian Scott Shrout of Danielsville, GA.; two sisters, Bethel Martin, and Hildred Dorrell; grandson, Travis Shrout of Mount Hope; granddaughter Brittany Rice and fiance Shawn Laughery of Oak Hill; five great grandchildren, Abigail Worrell, Faith Shrout, Eli Shrout, Isabella Laughery, and McKenzlie Worrell; and four step grandchildren, Billy Joe, Matthew, Daniel, and Joshua Buchanan.
Visitation for friends will be Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, August 31, 2018 at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope with Pastor Richard Midkiff officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Beckley.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations of sympathy be made to the Bowers Hospice House 454 Cranberry Drive Beckley WV, 25801.
