Nina V. Wright

Nina Virginia Thompson Wright, 76, of Pax, WV died on Friday, August 03, 2007 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV. Born February 17, 1931 at Long Branch, WV she was the daughter of the late John F. and Ocie E. Allen Thompson. She was a disabled Coal Lab Technician having worked for New River Company and Eastern Associated Coal Company. Mrs. Wright was a member of the Church of Christ at Pax. A granddaughter, Christina L. Wright and eight brothers and sisters preceded her in death. Survivors include husband, William Harry Wright; son, John B. Wright and wife, Barbara of Pax, WV; daughter, Cathy E. Rutledge and husband, Michael of Pax, WV; one brother, Lewis Thompson of Baltimore, MD; three grandchildren, John B. Wright, II, Daniel B. Wright, II and Steven M. Rutledge. Services will be on Monday, August 6, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope with Rev. Daniel B. Wright and Rev. Thomas "Duke" Maynor officiating. Burial will be at Thompson Cemetery, Bee Branch, Pax WV. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope on Monday, August 6, 2007, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
