Nellie Edith Scarbro , 94, of Hilltop, WV died on Friday, October 12, 2018 at Hilltop Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Born January 31, 1924 in Raleigh County, WV she was the daughter of the late John Perry and Nellie Forrest Payne Scarbro.
Nellie retired from Oak Hill Hospital, having worked for many years in the Dietary Department. She was a member of the Dothan Community Church.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Clarence Scarbro and Luther Scarbro and sister, Eva Gilbert
Survivors include brother, Johnny Lee Scarbro and wife, Emogene of Oak Hill; sister, Loretta May Pennock of Virginia; and several nieces and nephews
Graveside rites and committal will be on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at High Lawn Memorial Park Oak Hill with Pastor Darrell Fuller officiating. Burial will follow. There will be no visitation.
