Nellie Alberchinski Payne

Nellie Alberchinski Payne, 93, of Oak Hill, passed away Friday, May 06, 2005, at Hilltop Healthcare Center in Hilltop, WV. Born June 30, 1911 at Carlisle, she was the daughter of the late Casmir and Rose Pobicek Alberchinski. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Howard Payne on May 22, 1978; three brothers, Carl D., Charles, and Stanley Alberchinski and one sister, Elizabeth Alberchinski. She was a former produce retailer. Survivors include her three sons, Charles H. Payne of Virginia Beach, VA, James Albert Payne of Oakland Park, FL, and John Edward Payne of Jacksonville, NC; two daughters, Martha L. Akers of Fayetteville and Mary E. Kellam of Willis Wharf, VA; fourteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren. Services will be 2:00 PM Monday, May 9, 2005, at the Tyree Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Hill with Dr. John Sauvage officiating. Burial will follow at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. Friends may call Sunday, May 8, 2005, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill.
