Nellie Virginia Crumb Dick , 94, of Hilltop, WV died on Monday, December 21, 2015 at Hilltop Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Hilltop, WV.
Born November 20, 1921 at Carlisle, WV she was the daughter of the late Fleming Thomas and Susan Virginia Johnson Crumb.
Nellie was retired having worked for several families in the area as a housekeeper and caring for children.
She was a member of the Scarbro United Methodist Church where she had 50 years of perfect attendance in Sunday school.
Her husband, Samuel Levi Dick preceded her in death and as the last surviving member of her immediate family she was preceded by seven brothers, Wilbur Lee Crumb, Andrew J. "Jack" Crumb, William Thomas Crumb, Carl Alexander Crumb, Henry Crumb, Woodrow Crumb and Donald Adair Crumb; and five sisters, Ruth Elizabeth Crumb, Gloria Crumb, Margaret Crumb, Mary Maude Hall and Elsie Toney.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews and her loving and devoted friends and caregivers, Marvin and Linda Cooper.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, December 26, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill. with Dr. Charles Miller and Dr. Sharon Miller officiating. Burial will be at Hilltop Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
