Neal Carson Parrish, 69, of Dothan, WV died on Thursday, July 22, 2004 at his home. Born August 05, 1934 at Lowndes County, GA he was the son of the late Carson Elton and Jewell Catherine Bennett Parrish. He was the owner of Atlas Belt Services, Mount Hope. Mr. Parrish was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church, Red Star, WV. Survivors include his wife, Irma "Midge" McGraw Parrish; sons, Joe Parrish of Dothan and Neal Parrish and his wife, Sheila, of Roanoke, VA; daughters, Pamela Carte of Dothan, Charlotte Parrish of Colorado, Elaine Parrish of Salem, VA and Teresa Cardin and husband, Hall, of Georgia; brothers, Charles Parrish and wife, Barbara, of Florida and Ansel Parrish and wife, Toni, of Pelham, GA; sisters, Dorothy Holland of Pensacola, FL and Alice Springer of Sunnyvale, CA; grandchildren, Joe, Jr. and Hunter Parrish, Brittany, Josh and Tyler Carte all of Dothan, Michael, Stephen and Sean Parrish of Roanoke, VA, Marty and Cheryl Cardin of Georgia. Additional survivors include Dwain and Alice Garrett of Jonesboro, GA, Ileda Callahan of Mount Hope and Betty Munsey of Baltimore, OH and by several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Saturday, July 24, 2004, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Services will be on Saturday, July 25, 2004, at 2:00 pm at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Delmer Sizemore officiating. Burial will be at Peters Cemetery, Dothan WV.
