Naomi Collins Smith

Naomi Collins Smith, age 79 of Massillon, Ohio, formerly of Kincaid, WV passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Affinity medical Center in Massillon, Ohio. Born January 30, 1932 at Powellton, WV, she was the daughter of the late Sillus and Ruth Hannah Collins. Naomi was a homemaker and waitress and was of the Baptist faith . She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Naomi is survived by her two sons, Mark A. Smith and James D. Smith, both of Kincaid, WV, her three daughters, Regina Maxwell of Columbus, OH, Deanna Taylor of Wriston, WV and Deborah Stevens of Massillon, OH. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at the Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, WV with Pastor Ronnie Persinger officiating. Burial will follow in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Pea Ridge Road, Oak Hill,WV. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to services on Tuesday, November 29, 2011.
