N. Ruby Dixon

N. Ruby Reynolds Dixon, 88, of St. Helen, MI formerly of Minden, WV died on Sunday, July 16, 2006 at Bortz Nursing Home in West Branch, MI following a long illness. Born April 10, 1918 at Concho, WV she was the daughter of the late Thomas Malcolm and Annie Belle Spradlin Reynolds. Mrs. Dixon was a member of the Assembly of God, St. Helen, MI and a homemaker. Her husband, James Harrison Dixon and one son, Thomas Edward Dixon preceded her in death. Survivors include three daughters, Ruby Jordan of St. Helen, Michigan, Shirley Jordan of Deland, FL and Mary Alice Surlas of Lake Milton, OH; one son, James Clifton Dixon of Houghton Lake, Michigan; one sister, Lucille McCormick of Lexinton, VA; twenty three grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Thursday, July 20, 2006, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Services will be on Thursday, July 20, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Daniel Rice officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV.
