Myrtle I. Mckinney

Myrtle I. Hicks McKinney, 71, of Oak Hill, WV died on Friday, February 17, 2006 at her home following a long illness. Born November 22, 1934 at Nuttalburg, WV she was the daughter of the late Wiley L. and Goldie Myrtle Erwin Hicks. Mrs. McKinney was a member of the Original Church of God, Rosedale, Oak Hill, WV and a homemaker. Her first husband, Luke Richmond; second husband, Elmer McKinney; an infant son, Edward Richmond; a daughter, Barbara Cartin; one brother, Jessie Hicks and one sister, Edith Hicks preceded her in death. Survivors include her companion, Henry Hill; three sons, David Richmond, Jimmy Richmond and James Richmond all of Oak Hill, WV; one daughter, Linda Lafferty, Oak Hill, WV; one brother, Robert Hicks, Oakland, MD; two sisters, Mary Horner, Columbus, OH and Betty Hicks, Oak Hill, WV; 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Sunday, February 19, 2006, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Services will be on Sunday, February 19, 2006, at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. James Bailey officiating. Burial will be at Hilltop Cemetery, Hilltop WV.
