At home surrounded by her family, Myrtle Lee (Gunter) Gunter, 74, of Piney View, WV left this world to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 14, 2007 Born February 09, 1933 at Bryant Store, KY she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lillie Mae Partin Gunter. Mrs. Gunter was of the Holiness faith and was a homemaker. The family extends a special thanks to Hospice and especially to Heather, JoAnn and Maggie. She was preceded in death by her one son, Randall Gunter, one granddaughter, Cassandra Harrison, five sisters, Aretha Gunter, Mittie Allen, Gladys Clark, Virginia McPeak and Maltie Gunter and one brother, Joe Ed Gunter Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 57 years Fred Gunter; one son, Jason Wayne Gunter of Daniels, WV; three daughters, Margaret Duncan and husband, Sammy of Terry, WV, Donna Brewster and husband, W.C. of Piney View, WV and Priscilla Harrison and husband, Steve of Glen White, WV; one brother, Sylvanis Gunter and wife, Ruby of Camden, OH; three brothers-in-law, Ellis Gunter of Piney View, WV, Virgil Gunter and wife, Millie of Cleveland, OH and Melvin Gunter and wife, Joyce of Austintown, OH and one sister-in-law, Lois Kathleen Brown of Cleveland, OH. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, Holly Dalton, Belinda Weidensall, Jacklyn Hall, Brian Gunter, Stephanie Harrison, Ashley Brewster, Steven Harrison, Cody Brewster and Savannah Duncan; three step-grandchildren, Becky Duncan, Samuel Duncan and Angela Duncan; five great grandchildren, Montana Gardner, Arron Weidensall, Harley Gunter, Briauna Dalton and Azavior Dalton and two step-great grandchildren, Jessica Duncan and Casey Duncan along with many other relative and friends. Services will be on Thursday, October 18, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Ray Hicks officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity WV. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Wednesday, October 17, 2007 from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM. Brian Gunter, Steven Harrison, Cody Brewster, Samuel Duncan, Cletis Hall and Jason Dalton will serve as pallbearers.
