Myra Christine Williams, 57, of Pelham, AL died on Monday, December 11, 2017.
Born January 07, 1960, she was the daughter of the late Caperton Bernard and Alfreda (Williams) Williams of Pax, WV.
Myra was best known for her honest humor and outspoken demeanor. She loved relaxing outdoors, drinking Coca Cola and listening to country music and The Temptations. She was a homemaker, but, more importantly she made everyone welcome in her home. Nobody ever left without feeling like her house was their house. Myra also enjoyed cooking, which she had a talent for. Often times Myra would be found in the kitchen, preparing a feast. Myra overcame many obstacles and challenges in her short life, and that should be recognized. She was perfectly imperfect.
She was preceded in death by infant brother Kenneth Williams, sister Pamela Hiser; and the love of her life, Danny Ray Williams..
Those left to cherish her memory are daughters, Lori (James) Mahan of Pelham, AL. and Tonya (Doug Shugart) Williams of Palmetto, GA; a child she cared for that became her daughter, Mandy (Ronnie) Lawson of Beckley; sister, Gaytha Murray of Mt. Hope; brothers, Terry (Judy) Williams of Mt. Hope and Mitchell (Deaner) Williams of Oak Hill. Also, all of her aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews were very special to her. Myra's most precious part of life was her two grandchildren, Alexanderia Lewis and Kassidy Williams (Kool-Aid) of Pelham, AL.
A memorial service will be on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 6:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Mount Hope.
