Minnie E. Loeffler

Minnie Elizabeth Lewis Loeffler, 78, of Rt 2 Scarbro, WV went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, August 20, 2007. Born February 26, 1929 at Fayetteville, WV she was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Ida Hazel Honaker Lewis. She was a homemaker and a foster grandparent for Scarbro Elementary School where she was known as "Miss Minnie." Mrs. Loeffler attended the Summerlee Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward King Loeffler, Sr.; grandson, Michael Loeffler; granddaughter, Mary Jackson and three sisters, Velma Pennington, Jackie Della Donna and Ruth Ann Lewis. Survivors include four sons, Ed Loeffler, Jr. and wife, Mary of Gainesville, FL, James Loeffler and wife, Karen of Durham, NC, Tim Loeffler and wife, Pam of Harvey, WV and Gary Loeffler and wife, Angie of Lochgelly, WV; three daughters, Barbara Jackson and husband, Robert of Scarbro, WV, Frances Weese and husband, Carl of Bradenton, FL and Linda Halvorson and husband, Pete of Glen Jean, WV and one sister, Alma Lee Starr of Gainesville, FL. She is also survived by twenty one grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Services will be on Friday, August 24, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Ronnie Persinger officiating. Burial will be at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill WV. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home on Thursday, August 23, 2007 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
