Minnie Kania

Minnie Grabosky Kania , 92, of Oak Hill, WV died on Monday, October 15, 2012 at Hilltop Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Hilltop, WV. Born November 21, 1919 at Carlisle, WV she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Lufcheski Grabosky. She was a retired cook for Rosedale Elementary School. Minnie was a 1935 graduate of Oak Hill High School. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Oak Hill and the Ladies Guild. Her husband, Walter John Kania, Jr., brother, John Grabosky and sisters, Nellie Watson and Ann Kepto preceded her in death. Survivors include a brother, Steve Grabosky of Oak Hill, a sister, Rose Kowalsky of Warren, MI and several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Oak Hill with Father Paul Yuenger officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. Friends may call from 12:30 PM until service time Thursday at the church. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
