On Sunday, July 10, 2016, Mildred Mullins Whitlow, 82 (29), passed away at her home in Scarbro, WV.
She was a homemaker, professional babysitter, and surrogate Granny to many.
She was the daughter of the late James and Lydia McKinney Mullins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Claude Whitlow; sons, Kerry Whitlow and Danny Whitlow; a brother, Charles Mullins, and six grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons,Arnold (Kay) Whitlow of Lansing and James (Cindy) Whitlow of Oak Hill and ; seven daughters, Audrey (Butch) Painter of Pax, Donna (Jerry) Suttle of Texas, Mona (Bo) Cook of Prosperity, Janice Brown of Scarbro, Tonia (Tink) Arthur of Lanark, Lois (Chuck) Norris of Oak Hill and Cynthia Lambert (Tony Miller) of Scarbro; one brother, James (Bernice) Mullins of Princeton; one sister, Dixie Donnell of Pax; a niece, Kathy Hines; and 30 grandchildren and 60 plus great-grandchildren.
The family would like to say a special thanks to the ones who helped her the last few months.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Pax Community Cemetery in Pax, WV. The family will meet at 12:00 p.m. at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope to caravan to the cemetery.
