Mildred Bryant Rieman, 90, of Charleston, WV formerly of Oak Hill, WV died in the arms of her children on Wednesday, January 02, 2008 at her home. Born June 19, 1917 at Iredell County, NC she was the daughter of the late William Richard and Clyde Foster Bryant. Mildred met her future husband, Henry Rieman on Pearl Harbor Day in 1941. They were married in California on Christmas Day 1943. She and her husband were the owners of the Oak Hill Greenhouse from 1955-1971. She had been a resident of Charleston since 2003. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Edward Rieman on April 2, 1971; a granddaughter, Katie Moore; one sister, Hilda and two brothers, Bill and Hal. Survivors include two daughters, Marguerite Duda and husband, Mike of Charleston, WV and Chrissy Moore and husband, Dave of Ephrata, WA; one son, John Rieman and wife, Nancy of Indianapolis, IN and four grandchildren, Derek Rieman, Geoff Rieman, Alicia Rieman Packwood and husband, Forrest and Steve Moore and wife, Ali. Graveside rites and committal service will be on Monday, January 7, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at High Lawn Memorial Park in Oak Hill, WV with Rev. Gary Lilly officiating. Burial will follow. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Hospice Care, 1145 Dunbar Avenue, Dunbar, WV 25084.
