Mildred Tompkins Lewis

Mildred Gertrude Tompkins Lewis, 83, of Oak Hill, WV died on Thursday, December 18, 2008 at her home. Born August 08, 1925 at Lansing, WV she was the daughter of the late Aubrey Ossington Tompkins, Sr. and Grace Stout Tompkins. Mrs. Lewis was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Hoyt Lewis; a daughter, Charlotte Slone; brothers, Aubrey O. Tompkins, Jr., Eugene Tompkins, Jack Tompkins and James Tompkins and sisters, Norma Burgess and Nellie Mae Fisher. Survivors include three grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Services will be on Saturday, December 20, 2008 at 2:30 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Carlisle Bloome officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV.
