Michelle Lavonne Steele

Michelle Lavonne Steele, 55, Lexington, SC passed away peacefully on Monday, February 26, 2024 at her residence with her family by her side.

Born October 27, 1968 in Cleveland, Ohio she was the daughter of Edward Dale Carte and Phyllis Roop Wilson.

Michelle was a homemaker, she enjoyed making crafts and especially loved to cook. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family.

Those left to cherish her wonderful memory include her loving husband of 30 plus years William Lee Steele; 3 children, Shandale, Shane, and Kayla; 3 grandchildren, Anthony, Bryce, and Corbin; mother, Phyllis Roop Wilson; father, Edward Dale Carte; and 5 siblings, Shannon, Renee, Becky, Christy, and Jamie.

Visitation for the public will be from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Hill

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Hill with Pastor Daniel Legg officiating. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Victor, WV.
