Michael Ray Schrader, 48, of Mount Hope, WV passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, November 8, 2014 surrounded by family and friends.
Born April 12, 1966 at Beckley, WV, Michael was a hardworking and loving husband and father.
He was preceded in death by his son, Eric Wayne Schrader, his father, Okey Schrader, Jr., his father-in-law, Gene England II and brother-in-law, Gene England III.
He is survived by his wife, Crystal; daughters, Mallory and Rayleigh; sons, Wesley and Dakota; his mother, Mary Hall Schrader; brothers, Paul, Jimmy (Roxie) and Mark (Kelly); sisters, Jackie (Chuck) and Sally (Byron).
Michael had a very special close relationship with his extended family, Betty, Lisa, Russ, Charlie (Chasity), Joshua (Alex), Roxie and the Mount Hope Fire Department.
He was a disabled heavy equipment operator and mechanic. He had worked for Kanawha Stone and Jim C. Hamer.
Michael was a member of Mount Hope Christian Church. He proudly served on the Mount Hope Fire Department for 29 years.
Funeral services will be at 12 Noon Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Tyree Funeral Home in Mount Hope with Minister Dennis Kinzer officiating. Full Fire Fighters Honors service will be conducted. Burial will follow at the Wickline Cemetery in Meadow Bridge. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Thursday.
