Michael Wayne "Mickey" Rosiek Sr., 55, of Oak Hill, WV died unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 09, 2010 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV. Born July 01, 1955 at Oak Hill, WV he was the son of Stanley and Wanda Duboski Rosiek of Oak Hill. Michael was a member of the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Oak Hill and an operator for Georgia Pacific. He was a 1973 graduate of Collins High School in Oak Hill. Mickey loved all types of sports, was a big fan of NASCAR and enjoyed seeing his grandchildren participate in their sporting activities. He coached Little League Baseball for his son, Mickey, Jr. A true family man, he was a wonderful loving father and Pa-Paw. He will be deeply missed by his best friend and twin brother, Ricky. A son, Michael Wayne " Mickey” Rosiek, Jr. preceded him in death. In addition to his parents, survivors include one daughter, Misty Rosiek Hall of Oak Hill, three brothers, his twin, Richard "Ricky" Rosiek of Oak Hill, Stanley "Stosh" Rosiek and wife, Janet of Charleston and Jeff A. Rosiek of Tampa, FL, two sisters, Karen Rosiek Todaro and husband, Ben of Oak Hill and Paula Rosiek Prostrollo of Oak Hill and the mother of his children, Debbie Rosiek of Winfield. He is also survived by two grandchildren, (Pa-Paw's Angels) Jada Michele "Jadabug" Hall and Darion Chase "Bubby" Hall both of Oak Hill. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, November 12, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Oak Hill with Father Paul Yuenger officiating. Burial will be at Floral Hills Gardens of Memories in Sissonville, WV at 3:30 PM with Father John McDonough officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church. Additional visitation will be held at Floral Hills Gardens of Memories from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM. Pallbearers will be Twan Reynolds, Bobby Ward, Miguel Ovalle, Bobbie Scarbro, Matthew Burk and Jason Taylor. He will be greatly missed by his entire family and host of friends.
