Michael L. "Macky" Sheets

Michael Leslie “Macky” Sheets Jr., 46, of Scarbro, WV died on Monday, January 21, 2013 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV. Born March 01, 1966 at Ripley, WV he was the son of Mildred Aileen Mitchell Sheets Hill and the late Michael Leslie Sheets, Sr. Michael was an outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish and look for ginseng. His grandparents, Buck and Ruby Mitchell; Leslie Sheets; and Deliha and Leonard Casto and an aunt, Linda Cooper preceded him in death. Those left to cherish is memory are his loving daughter, Katie Frances Sheets who was the love of his life; his mother, Mildred "Meddie" Hill and Danny of Mossy; paternal grandmother, Kathleen Sheets of Ripley; brothers, Johnathan Sheets and Anita Layton of Cedar Grove and Leonard and Robin Sheets of Sharon, sisters, Adeline Sheets and Dennis Pyles of Dawes, Carolyn "Sue" and Ronnie Foster of Miami, Sarah and Wesley Pennington of Scarbro' stepbrother, Wesley and Tammy Hill and stepsisters, Jennifer Hill and Andrea Hill. Also surviving are sister-in-law, Mildred "Millie" Sheets of Dry Branch; uncles and aunts, David and Judy Sheets, Randy, Andy and Juanita Sheets, Ronnie and Betsy Sheets, Connie and Jeff Ellis all of Ripley, Diane Haggar of Sissonville, Parvin Casto of Giles, Carl Mitchell of Hawaii, Norman Facemyer of Arkansas; his road dog John-John Boggess; friends Jerry Wood and Jason "Head" Mullins; twenty-one nieces and nephews and twenty-three great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Pastor Lum Toney officiating. Graveside rites and committal will then be held at 1:30 P.M. at the Mount Hope Cemetery, Slaughter Creek at Dawes Mountain. Burial will follow. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Friday, January 25, 2013 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Davy Sheets, Johnny Sheets, Troy Foster, Jeffery Pennington, Little Leonard Sheets and Leonard Sheets will serve as pallbearers.
