Melvin Clyde Shuemake, 59, of Oak Hill, WV died on Saturday, February 06, 2010 at Veterans Administration Hospital in Beckley, WV. Born April 24, 1950 at Kingston, WV he was the son of the late Clyde E.and Almogene Potter Shuemake. He was a disabled painter. Melvin was a Vietnam Era US Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Teresa Page Lloyd Shuemake; one son, Paul E. Shuemake of Florida; two daughters, Amanda Martinez of Hialeah, FL and Melanie Shuemake of Largo, FL; two brothers, David Shumake of Cameron, NC and Thomas Shumake of Taylor, MI; sister, Jeanie Mullins-Shumake of Spring Hill, FL; two step-daughters, Sarah Everhart and Shannon Everhart; seven grandchildren, Dylan Jensen, Kory Jensen, Alyssa Hopkins, Devin Martinez, Antonio Naples, Mikayla Stambaugh and Angelica Stambaugh and two step-grandchildren, Natasha Askew and Raquan Everhart. Services will be on February 11, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Rev. Randy Black officiating. Military rites will be conducted by VFW Post #3110 of Oak Hill.
