Melissa Cara Settle

Melissa Cara Toney Settle, 40, of Route 2, Fayetteville passed away Saturday, December 31, 2005, on Route 61 near Ingram Branch, following an auto accident. Born December 7, 1965 at Oak Hill, she was the daughter of Alfred F. "ToJo" Toney of Oak Hill and the late Joann Foster Toney. Melissa was a homemaker, and a member of the Page Baptist Church at Page. Besides her father, she is survived by her husband, Michael "Mike" Settle; a son, Brandon Settle at home; her stepmother, Mary Toney of Oak Hill; two brothers, Clint Toney of Rt. 2, Fayetteville and Joseph F. Toney of Oak Hill; and her grandmother, Nina Lee Settle Foster of Rt. 2, Fayetteville. Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday at the Tyree Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Hill with Rev. Delmas Wolfe officiating. Burial will follow at Settle's Final Rest at Rt. 2, Fayetteville. Friends may call from 12 Noon until the time of the service at the funeral home.
