Maxine Catlett Stover

Maxine Stamper Catlett Stover , 83, of Cocoa, FL formerly of Glen Morgan, WV died on Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at her home. Born September 30, 1925 at Cabin Creek, WV she was the daughter of the late John and Letha Cartwright Stamper. Mrs. Stover was a member of the Sun Valley Christian Church, Titusville, FL. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vivian Ben "Preacher" Stover and two children, Drema Lynn Catlett and Roy Lee Catlett. As the last suviving member of her immediate family she was also preceded by two brothers, Claude Stamper and David Stamper and one sister, Goldie Fix. Survivors include two daughters, Lillie Kay Stover of Cocoa, FL and Christa Driscoll of Falls Mills, VA; two sons, Ray Catlett of Cocoa, FL and Russell John Catlett of Maple Fork, WV; twelve grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild. Services will be on Monday, October 27, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope with Rev. Harmon Davis officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity WV. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home on Sunday, October 26, 2008 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
