Maxine Mable Cochran Cool

Maxine Mable Cochran Cool , 91, of Mossy, WV passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV following a long illness. Born January 27, 1920 at Big Run, Webster County, WV she was the daughter of the late Lawrence W. and Blanche M. Arthur Cochran of Diana, WV. She was a member of the Holly River Baptist Church at Diana and a homemaker. Her husband, Charles L. Cool preceded her in death in 2004 and son, John L. Cool in 2000. She was also preceded by three brothers, Denzil Cochran, Junior Cochran and Therill Cochran, two sisters, Pauline Cutlip and Virginia Hicks and son-in-law, John "Jack" Hill. Survivors include daughter, Charlotte L. Gray and husband, Ted Gray of Mossy and their children, Tina Sumpter and husband, Jerry Sumpter, their daughter, Ann Sumpter and fiance, Josh Arrington and son, Teddy Gray and wife, Teresa Gray and their son, Colby Gray all of Oak Hill; another daughter, Susan K. Hill of Oak Hill and her children, daughter, Tammie Blankenship and her two children, Michael Taylor and fiancee, Chelsea Spurlock and Rebecca Taylor and fiance, J.T. Smiley, II and son, J.T. Smiley, III of Charlton Heights, daughter, Amy Thompson and son, Jayden of Oak Hill and daughter, Kathy Bowles and husband, Harry Bowles and their children, Katelynn Thomas, Cassidy Bowles, Ashley Bowles and Bailey Bowles all of Fayetteville. She also survived by a brother, Roy R. Cochran and wife, Donna of Vermillion, OH as well as several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Margret, Mable and the Fairview Methodist Church for the care, cards, and fruit baskets. Funeral services will be on Monday, December 26, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Rev. Jerry Sears officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home. Family members will serve as pallbearers.
