Mattie J. Broyles

Mattie J. Bragg Broyles, 90, of Bradley, WV passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2009 at Raleigh General Hospital, Beckley. Born April 13, 1919 in Randolph County, WV, she was a daughter of the late Edgar and Cora Simms Bragg. Preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Thompson; one sister, Violet Lilly and one brother, Lawrence Bragg. Survivors include four sons, Mark Broyles, Braxton Broyles, Anthony Broyles, Jeffrey Broyles; one daughter, Kay Hale; one sister, Pauline Barley; nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren. Graveside service with burial to follow be at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 22, 2009 at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill with Rev. Delmas Wolfe officiating.
