Mary Mae Hambrick Scott , 93, of Oak Hill, WV died on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV. Born July 07, 1916 at Woodville, WV she was the daughter of the late Alfred Jackson and Della Elizabeth Lafferty Hambrick. Mrs. Scott was a member of the Oak Hill Church of the Nazarene and a homemaker. Her husband, Frank Scott; a son, Gerald "Jerry Scott; five brothers, Kenneth Hambrick, Robert Hambrick, Charlie Hambrick, Paul Hambrick and Alfred Hambrick and a sister, Vivian Duff preceded her in death. Survivors include two daughters, Doris Stokey of Knoxville, TN and Frankie Mae Sokoff of San Jose, CA; one brother, Allen Hambrick of Charleston, WV; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren Services will be on Saturday, June 19, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill. with Pastor Jerry Bush officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
