Mary Deal Richeson

Mary Magdalene Deal Richeson, 86, of Mount Hope, WV died on Monday, February 07, 2005 at Hilltop Healthcare Center in Hilltop, WV following a short illness. Her death occured on her 58th wedding anniversary. Born December 25, 1918 at Kilsyth, WV she was the daughter of the late Fred and Ola Brown Deal. Mrs. Richeson was a homemaker. She was a member of the Mount Hope Christian Church and was passionate about writing and reading. She and Jim lived in New York City for many years, then retired to Kitty Hawk, NC for several years before moving back home to Mount Hope. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Jeremiah Richeson and was the last surviving member of her immediate family Survivors include husband, Elmer James Richeson; sons: John Randell Richeson of Kitty Hawk, NC and Elmer James Richeson, II of Shirley, NY and 3 grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope on Wednesday, February 10, 2005, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Services will be on Thursday, February 10, 2005, at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel, Mount Hope with Minister Ferdinand Gavina officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity WV.
