Mary Charlene Thompson Rice, 69 of Fayetteville passed away peacefully on Friday, July 29, 2016 at home.
Born October 9, 1946 at Oak Hill, WV she was the daughter of the late Maurice and Elizabeth Smalls Harris.
Her husband, John Raymond Rice and two brothers preceded her in death.
Survivors include son, Raymond Rice and wife, Tammy of Clayton, NC, daughters, Alma Treadway and husband, Lee of Fayetteville, Tina Howington and husband, James of Oak Hill, and Becky Lewis and husband, Ronnie of Fayetteville; also two very special grandchildren she helped raise, Brittany Rice and fiance, Shawn Laughery and Mary Songer along with five other grandchildren, Josh, James, John, Kimberly and Brandon; eight great-grandchildren; and brother James Thompson and wife, Bonnie of Milton.
In keeping with her final wishes she will be cremated and no service will be held.
