Mary K. Prather

Mary Katherine Lively Prather, 81, of Carlisle, WV died on Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at Nicholas County Health Center in Richwood, WV. Born May 27, 1925 at Scarbro, WV she was the daughter of the late Clinton Oscar Lively and Nellie Vivian Roop Lively Crouch. She was a homemaker. Mary was a member of the First Church of God, Carlisle, WV. A son, Charles Herman Prather, Jr.; four brothers, Clinton Lively, James Crouch, Richard Crouch and Orval Crouch; and two sisters, Frances Painter and Norma Jean Smith preceded her in death. Survivors include two grandchildren, Paula Perry and husband, Justin of Charleston, WV and Chad Prather and wife, Carrie of Columbus, OH; one sister, Annie Smith of Craigsville, WV; two great grandchildren and by several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Friday, November 24, 2006, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Services will be on Friday, November 24, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Lum Toney officiating. Private graveside rites and committal will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV.
