Mary Ruth O'Connor Watts

Mary Ruth O'Connor Watts, age 79, of Oak Hill, WV, passed away on Friday, June 1, 2012 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV Born January 16, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Charles J. and Ellen Marie “Solger” O'Connor. Mary was a waitress for many years at the Top Hat and Skyline Drive Ins, was a member of the Fellowship Memorial Baptist Church, East Oak Hill, WV and the Ladies Aide Society of the church. Mary had been a West Virginia resident since 1952. Surviving are her two daughters, Victoria Poff and her companion Thomas Wimmer of Scarbro, WV, Elizabeth Jarvis and her husband Will of Oak Hill, WV; her two Sons, Edgar Watts and Donald Watts and his wife Mary all of Ohio. Also surviving is her only granddaughter, Mya Lynn Watts of Montgomery, WV and one brother, John O'Connor of Chicago, Illinois. Funeral services will be held at 11: 00 AM. Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at the Fellowship Memorial Baptist Church, Oak Hill, WV with Rev. Pete Lokant officiating. Burial will follow in High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill, WV Friends may call at the Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, WV from 6-8 P M on Monday, June 4, 2012. and at the church one hour prior to services on Tuesday.
