Mary Virginia McQuade, 67, of Carmel, CA, formerly of Richwood, WV, passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2019.
Born on January 16, 1951 in Richwood, WV she was a daughter of the late Marian Herndon and Joseph Leo McQuade, of Oak Hill.
She attended West Virginia University Medical School where she got her medical degree in 1982. Ms. McQuade had been living in Carmel, CA where she maintained her private psychiatric practice for over 37 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Marielle McQuade Breneman, Portland, Oregon, and eleven brothers and sisters, Shirley McQuade Davis, Beckley, West Virginia, Dona Jo McQuade, Chula Vista, CA, Paul Daniel McQuade, East Haddam, Connecticut, Charles McQuade, Albuquerque, New Mexico, Thomas McQuade, Lexington, South Carolina, David McQuade, Richwood, West Virginia, Ruth McQuade, Shepherdstown, West Virginia, George McQuade, Oak Hill, West Virginia, Margaret McQuade, Charleston, West Virginia, Michael McQuade, Santa Fe, New Mexico, and Kathleen McQuade, Beckley, West Virginia.
She is pre-deceased by her brothers, Robert McQuade and Joel McQuade, and her sister, Patricia McQuade.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at the Oak Hill Baptist Church with Reverend Sam Blaylock officiating.
