Mary Margaret Dixon Tincher , 67, of Scarbro, WV died on Wednesday, November 05, 2014 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV.
Born May 25, 1947 at Scarbro, WV she was the daughter of the late Theodore O. "Teed" and Margaret C. Bozo Dixon.
She was a registered nurse having been employed at Raleigh General Hospital for 25 years.
Mary Margaret was a member of the Sts Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Oak Hill.
She was a 1965 graduate of Collins High School in Oak Hill and a member of the Alpha Zeta Master chapter of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.
A brother, Charles E. Dixon preceded her in death.
Survivors include daughter, Kellie Lilly and husband, Gerry of Daniels; son, Daniel Lee Tincher and wife, Geneva of Scarbro; two sisters, Coletta Vandall and husband, Marvin of Scarbro and Regina O'Neal and husband, William of Glen Jean; and two brothers, Theodore J. Dixon of Oak Hill and William Dixon and wife, Barbara of Oak Hill.
She is also survived by two grandchildren, Daniel Tincher and Nicole Tincher and several nieces and nephews.
In accordance with her wishes, Ms. Tincher was cremated. A memorial service will be on Friday, November 14, 2014 at 12:00 P.M. at Sts Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Oak Hill with Father Carlos Melocoton officiating. Burial will follow at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church.
