Mary Rhodes Fridley

Mary L. Rhodes Fridley, 87, of Oak Hill, passed away Friday, June 16, 2006 at Hidden Valley Health Care Center, Oak Hill. She was a homemaker. She was born July 3, 1918 at Oak Hill, daughter of the late Noah Judson Rhodes, Sr. and Leah White Rhodes. Her husband, Cecil Herman Fridley; a son, Richard A. Rhodes; a daughter, Diane G. McGuffin; five brothers, Layton J., Robert D., Leonard C., Sella A. and Vilas B. Rhodes and five sisters, Elsie B. Ferro, Thelma V. Crews, Ruby E. Spasowsky, Opal F. Ferro and Melba R. Crouch preceded her in death. Survivors include one brother, Noah Judson Rhodes, Jr. of Detroit, MI; two sisters, Alma McClaskey of Oak Hill and Maxine Bowyer of Richwood; four grandson and several nieces and nephews. Graveside rites and committal will be conducted Monday, June 19, 2006 at 2:00 PM at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill with Dr. John Sauvage officiating. There will be no visitation.
