Mary Ann Fitzgerald

Mary Ann Powers Fitzgerald, 53, of Rt 1 Fayetteville, WV died on Monday, March 22, 2010 at the home of her sister, Deborah Jones. Born December 14, 1956 at Arlington, VA she was the daughter of the late Hobert H. and Hilda Gay Shaffer Powers. Mrs. Fitzgerald was an Assistant Manager for the American Legion in Virginia and was of the Baptist faith. Left to cherish her memory are sisters, Deborah Powers Jones and husband, Frank, Patricia Powers Shuemake and husband, Roger of Scarbro and Bobby Joe Powers of Virginia; brothers, Wayne Powers and Lee Powers both of Scarbro and Hobert Powers and wife, Debbie of Maple Fork; half brother, Thomas Workman of Virginia; daughters, Brenda McCoy of Renick and Darlene and Melissa Fitzgerald both of Virginia and thirteen grandchildren whom she dearly loved. Services will be on Thursday, March 25, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill. Burial will be at Bibb Cemetery, Rt. 2 Fayetteville.
