Mary Murdock Farthing

Mary Belle Murdock Farthing, 72, of Johns Island, SC, formerly of Mount Hope, WV passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2008. Born March 14, 1936 at Kilsyth, WV, she was a daughter of the late Asa Marcus and Georgia Anna Bragg Murdock. She was a member of Stono Baptist Church in Johns Island, SC; a 1954 graduate of Mount Hope High School and a former member of the Mount Hope Christian Church. Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Woodrow N. Farthing; four sons, Chip Farthing, Charleston, SC, Richard N. Farthing of Johns Island, SC, Chuck Farthing of Summerville, SC, & Christopher Farthing of Kenwick, WA; two sisters, Phyllis Farthing and Lucille Sanders, both of Johns Island, SC; four grandchildren, Eric, Sara, Joshua, and Benjamin.
