Mary F. Crouse Thompson

Mary Frances Crouse Thompson, 94, of Rt 1 Fayetteville, WV died on Thursday, May 14, 2009 at Appalachian Regional Hospital in Beckley, WV. Born January 12, 1915 at Harvey, WV she was the daughter of the late Hubert and Ada Allen Welch Crouse. Mrs. Thompson was a member of the Jones Avenue First Church of God, Oak Hill and the Women of the Church of God and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Thomas Thompson and as the last surviving member of her immediate family, by seven brothers and five sisters. Survivors include three sons, Herbert Sherman Thompson and wife, Judy of Monterey CA, Mark Edward Thompson and wife, Angel of Oak Hill and Andrew Lee Thompson of Seattle, WA; three daughters, Carolyn Frances Ramey and husband, Martin C. of Romney, Margaret Mary Thompson of Oak Hill and Jean Ann Wilson and husband, Jimmy of Kingsport, TN; nineteen grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 25, 2009 at the Jones Avenue First Church of God in Oak Hill with Rev. Ralph Shupe, Rev. Tonya Shupe and Rev. Pat Franklin officiating.
