Mary Louise Clay Johnson, 71, of Oak Hill, died Friday, September 21, 2012 at St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, WV. Born November 3, 1940 at Surveyor WV, she was the daughter of the late Pierce and Elsie Clay. She was a homemaker, a member of Oak Hill Church of the Nazarene and a former member of the Goldeneers of the Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Anita Catherine Johnson Small, two brothers, Eulice and Harry Clay, and one sister, Edith Shrewsbury. Survivors include her husband Johnny N. Johnson of Oak Hill, one son, Michael Dale Johnson and wife Joann of Oak Hill, two grandchildren: Stacy Beth Small of Maple Fork and Melissa Johnson Shirley and husband Billy of Beckley: three great-grandchildren; Aubrey Catherine Smallwood and Hadley Grace of Maple Fork and due in November -Max Shirley soon to be of Beckley. And two sisters, Hazeltine Daniel and Ruth Kincaid both of Iaeger, WV along with 19 nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. at Oak Hill Church of the Nazarene with the Reverends Jerry Bush and David Edwards officiating.
