Marshall William Jarrell

Marshall William Jarrell, age 88, of Glen Jean, WV, passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV. Born May 17, 1923 at Burnwell, WV, he was the son of the late Jasper Anderson and Hazel Polly Jarrell. Mr. Jarrell was a coal miner having worked for Burnwell Colliery and was a member of the First Assembly of God at Mt. Hope. He was preceded in death by a sister, Dolly D. Rodgers of Fayetteville, NC Surviving are his caregivers, Helen and Jessie Parker of Sun, WV and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, September 26, 2011 from the Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, with Rev. Jessie Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens at Pecks Mill, WV.
