Marlene Beverley

Marlene Beverley, 75, of Elkview, formerly of Prosperity, died on Monday, March 29, 2010 at Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston, WV. Born August 22, 1934 at Kilsyth, WV she was a daughter of the late Rufus L. and Eva Jordon Beverley. Marlene was retired from the UMWA District Office in Beckley after 40 years of service. She is survived by one brother, Howard C. Beverley and his wife, Drema, of Cross Lanes; two sisters, Virgie Beverley James and her husband, Jim, of Hedgesville and Lorene Beverley of Elkview. Graveside and Committal Rites will be held at 11:00 A. M. Thursday at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity with Minister Ken Overdorf officiating.
