Mark Estel Sexton , 43, of Oak Hill, WV died on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV.
Born September 30, 1971 at Beckley, WV he was the son of Estel M. "Etchie" Sexton, Jr. and Treatha Waldron Sexton of Oak Hill, WV.
He was a certified blaster working in surface mining.
Mark loved to hunt and fish and be outdoors. His favorite place was a hunting camp in Lewis County.
His maternal grandparents, Bill and Louvada Waldron; paternal grandfather, Estel M. Sexton, Sr. and uncle, Charles Ray Sexton preceded him in death.
Mark leaves behind a loving family which includes his parents; son, Dylan Selbe serving with the US Army in Korea; brother, Brandon Sexton and wife, Melissa of Fayetteville; and sister, Kristi Reese and husband, Bobby "Quack" of Fayetteville.
Also surviving are his paternal grandmother, Edna Sexton of Oak Hill; nephew, Barrett Sexton; niece, Ashley Johnson Urumelog; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Rev. Rudell Bloomfield and Rev. Sam R. Calloway, Jr. officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Sunday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to a favorite charity.
