Marjorie Wykle

Marjorie Payne Wykle, 81, of Oak Hill, WV passed away Saturday, March 10, 2007, at Hidden Valley of Oak Hill. Born June 30, 1925 at Scarbro, WV she was the daughter of the late Harry P. and Lottie Fielding Payne. Mrs. Wykle was a retired clerk with the New River Company in Mount Hope, WV and was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Betty Griffith and June Rousselle. Survivors include her son, William F. "Butch" Wykle of Virginia; a granddaughter, Erin Butcher of Kentucky; sisters, Sarah Smith of Billings, Missouri and Polly Smithson of Oak Hill; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside Rites will be 11 AM Tuesday at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill, WV with Rev. Ben Gentile officiating. Burial will follow. There will be no visitation.
