Marjorie "Marge" Oiler Simms

Marjorie "Marge" Oiler Simms , 85, of Oak Hill, WV died on Saturday, March 09, 2013 at her home. Born January 08, 1928 at Marting Mountain, WV she was the daughter of the late James Albert and Rose Ellen Crump Oiler. Mrs. Simms was of the Protestant faith. She enjoyed league bowling at White Oak Lanes and was a member of the PMC Senior Circle. She was a homemaker. Her husband, Cornelius Houston "Connie" Simms; brothers, Arnold, Harold, Vernon, James, Max, William and Robert Oiler; sisters, Dorothy Meadows and Virginia Oiliver and a grandson, Brandon Levi Simms preceded her in death. Survivors include eight sons, Larry Simms and wife, Carol of Gatewood, Jimmy Simms and wife, Ann of Hartville, OH, Roger Simms and wife, Carolyn of Whiteland, IN, Timmy Simms of Beckley, Michael Simms and wife, Karen of Plum Orchard, Connie Mack Simms and wife, Jennie of Oak Hill, Paul Dean Simms and wife, Bernie of Dale City, VA and Bruce Simms and wife, Jennifer of Oak Hill; four daughters, Lois O'Daniels of Wilmington, NC, Trenia Christianson of Seattle, WA, Vicki Maynard and husband, Randy of China and Madge Hamilton of Columbus, OH; and three sisters, Margaret Brown, Suzy West and Phyllis Myers. Also surviving are grandchildren, Leah Ison, Bryan O'Daniels, Jennifer McCarraher, Greg Simms, Nicholas Simms, Joshua Simms, Jonah Simms, Leslie Simms, Brittany Simms, Jeremy Simms, Shannon Simms, Tiffany Simms, Heather Elder, Stacey Scarbro, Garrett Christianson, Sutton Christianson, Blake Christianson, Lauren Hamilton, Paul Simms, Patrick Simms, John Simms, Joseph Simms, Taylor Maynard, Olivia Maynard, Spencer Maynard and Chloe Maynard and great grandchildren, Logan Shipman, Ellie Shipman, Seth McCarraher, Micah McCarraher, Hunter Simms, Chase Simms, Carter Simms, Tyson Simms, Morgan Simms, Owen Simms, Jacob Simms, Jed Simms, Jack Simms, Brynnlee Jackson, Mattie Scarbro, Cole Elder, Kaylie Koch, Talan Elder, Bradey Christianson and two grandchildren expected within two months and two special nieces, Saundra Tucker and Yvonne Pacella. Funeral services will be on March 13, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Pastor Eric Smith officiating. Entombment will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
